About Karen
Karen L. Jett, CMA was a reluctant entrepreneur. As she was growing up, she watched her parents struggle as they ran their own flower shop. This experience gave Karen the ambition to always work for someone else and receive the security of a weekly paycheck and group health insurance.
But there came a time in Karen’s life when she realized that to accomplish her goals, she had to change her ambition and start her own company. Now, both she and her husband, Farmer Thad, each run their own company.
Karen started working with entrepreneurs, solopreneurs, and very small companies after she realized that she had a lot to offer them. Karen combines the expertise she garnered working as a management accountant and business partner for over two decades with her personal experiences in running her own business with her values based beliefs. The result is a combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities that enables other entrepreneurs to think strategically, create appropriate systems and structures that support growth, and become comfortable with the financial aspects of their business.

Having held various accounting and business leadership roles over the years, Karen brings a unique business perspective to the table. She understands the challenges you face, both operational and financial, on a daily basis.
Over the years, Karen has excelled in all that she has chosen to do. She graduated from Temple University summa cum laude with a Bachelors of Business Administration in accounting. She sat for and passed the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) exam.
Not only did she earn a Certificate of Distinguished Performance, but she was also one of only 14% who passed the CMA exam on their first attempt.
